I have always enjoyed reading the washington manual. It provides concise and valuable tool for the residents and busy internists. The book has grown in size which makes it difficult to carry in the white coat unlike the residency days. Nevertheless it is one of the best books in medicine.
I'm a 4th year medical student, and needed apocket book to keep around in my internal medicine rotation, this is it. It's like internal medicine for dummies, just better. I would recomend this to anyone in the field.
This book has always been one of my "must-have" books. It's the closest thing you have as an up-to-date resource especially when you're far from a computer.

I liked this book because it had the latest updates on management and because it was succinct and to the point. The spiral binding and soft cover make it rather flimsy though.
